Dear All.
Observations on the Playboy issue. The magazine was based on an appetising
four-part recipe: the interview, big name fiction, big deal non fiction
and airbrushed centrefolds of naked young women.
VN certainly fits into the big name department. And the naked lady part
was very tame by 2010 standards; so was the concept of the Playboy Club.
That was the Hugh Hefner version of the floramor -- a 19th Century
whorehouse which lacked upstairs rooms. In a present-day Joburg lap
dancing club, they simply don't bother with an upstairs.

So VN, IMHO, is above censure in his dealings with Hefner.

Hugs and kisses,

Tom (Rymour)
