The second symposium of the "Nabokov: Education Without Borders" Program initiated by the French Vladimir Nabokov Society is to take place on October 21, 2022, in Toulouse, France.

Its subject is: "Disciplinary Hospitality and Indiscipline: Migration and Disciplinary Borders, from Vladimir Nabokov's Example"

Akikusa, Shun'ichiro

Akikusa, Shun'ichiro (1979-) is Associate Professor of Nihon University. He obtained a doctorate from the University of Tokyo in 2009. His main focus is Nabokov’s translational work, including his specific self-translation and translation theory. Lately, he has also studied the circulation and publication of Nabokov’s works. He has translated some Nabokov’s works including his short stories and essays both in Russian and English into Japanese.
