SPENCER, N.C. (AP) -- No sex please, we're in Spencer. But has
anyone told Jeremy Irons, Melanie Griffith and Dominique Swain?
They're filming another version of ``Lolita,'' Nabokov's novel
about a middle-aged man's affair with a 12-year-old girl, and some
scenes will be shot at the local train museum -- sans sex.
``Our scenes will not contain any of that,'' said Kelly Wrinn,
programs director at Spencer Shops. ``We are not going to do
anything we feel will damage the reputation of the museum. We are
hoping to make a positive impact on the community as a whole.''
Filming starts on Aug. 17, with Adrian Lyne (``Fatal
Attraction,'' ``Indecent Proposal,'' ``9 1/2 Weeks'') directing.
