** Don is off until Friday; this time it has nothing to do with El Nino,
just a nice, restful vacation. My strong suspicion is he timed it to
coincide with another round on Shakespeare. :) GD**

If anybody's made mention of this, it completely passed me by, so here (at
the risk of repeating somebody else) it is:

The official _Lolita_ movie site can be found at

http://www.pathe-lolita.com

Various typos and howlers (eg, forward for foreword) mar what is otherwise
a sterling corner of the web, brimming with pictures and with two very
neat QuickTime clips of the trailers for the movie---trailers which, by
the way, dispelled some of the more vague fears I've had about the movie.
Also check out director Lyne's very sensible take on the story.

Ignore the laughable photo-play as well---noble intentions abounded, I'm
sure, but it's just silly and awkward.

Cheers,

Juan
