I RECEIVED MANY INTERESTING ABSTRACTS AND I'M GLAD THAT ALL
OF THEM HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED BY THE SELECTION COMMITTEE. IN FACT, THE
PAPERS ARE ENOUGH FOR TWO BIG PANELS, SO I'LL HAVE TO CHOSE ONLY THOSE OF
THEM WHO MOST NICELY FIT THE TOPIC OF INTERTEXTUALITY. THE REST WILL BE
ALLOTTED TO OTHER PANELS BY DECISION OF THE ORGANIZERS. ALL PAPERS WILL
BE PRESENTED, AND THIS IS THE GOOD AND IMPORTANT NEWS.
THE DEADLINE FOR FINAL DECISIONS IS MID AUGUST. BY THEN THE
ORGANIZERS WILL CONSIDER PROPOSALS WHICH HAVE COME AFTER THE FIRST
DEADLINE OF APRIL 15 AND SOME REWORKED PROPOSALS. THEREFORE, IF YOU KNOW
SOMEONE WHO MIGHT BE STILL INTERESTED IN NABOKOV AND INTERTEXTUALITY,
PLEASE ENCOURAGE HIM/HER TO SUBMIT A 400-500-WORD PROPOSAL WHICH I'LL
PROMPTLY SENT TO THE SELECTION COMMITTEE.

SINCERELY,
NIKITA NANKOV
