EDITOR's NOTE. The note below is our first report of the Munich VN exhibit

"I went to Munich a few weeks ago to see the Nabokov exhibition. It was
thrilling to see butterflies he had caught as well as his butterfly net
and lepidopterological paraphernalia. I had also never seen his
handwriting in the original, and it was especially moving to look at the
entries in his last pocket calendar. His index cards with notes on
butterflies in paintings were also interesting to read. All in all, it is
a nicely made exhibition which provides insights into Nabokov's works and
life and should entice people to find out more about him."
