This message just popped into my guestbook. If anybody has any ideas,
please feel free to e-mail either myself or the person who sent the
request, Joelly (siegwald@prodigy.net) -- I'm thinking maybe something
from _Strong Opinions_.

"I have a niece who is a great Nabokov fan. She is graduating from college
in May and has requested Nabokov
books as graduation pr esents. She would especially like one of the
biographies--either The Russian Years or The American
Years. She is a wonderful girl and I don't know a thing about Nabokov,
except that he wrote Lolita. I want to have some
really great inscription written in the volume I give her. Do you know of
a quotation or something else that would be
appropriate? She uses the name of Vivian Darkbloom as her internet name.
Any suggestions you give me will be greatly
appreciated. I'm trying to make this very special for her. Thanks!
Jolley"

Cheers,

Juan
