I trust that other members of the list have seen The Times article by
Richard Beeston on the handback of Nabokov family properties along the
Oredezh. This story was reprinted in The Dominion, a Wellington morning
newspaper, on March 28. Unfortunately, I do not have reference to the
original publication date in The Times.
To quote an excerpt:

"...the main manor houses at the two Nabokov estates being offered for
restitution require extensive repair. The house at Rozhestveno... is
being rebuilt as a museum. Only the basement and foundations of the
house at Vyra remain and Mr Nabokov [DN] says he will need to raise
substantial sums from private donors to rebuild it. Because there are no
detailed records, the new building will be a redesign, likely to include
private apartments for Mr Nabokov, rooms for visiting writers and a
conference centre for literary evenst."
