Dear Ms. Goldschweer,

I am one of the organizers of the Nabokov and Germany conference (October
1999) at the Nabokov Museum. Vadim Stark, who was editor-in-chief of
Nabokovski Vestnik, did, indeed, promise to publish the N&G papers in his
almanach. But later he was unable to find the money for the publication. I
am going to publish some information about the conference, the schedule, and
titles of each paper on the new "Nabokov in Russia" website, which is almost
completed (we're planning to launch it in two weeks). But as we were never
sure that the N&G proceedings would be published, most of the participants
have never submitted their papers to me. As of now, I will be glad to
publish everyone's paper on the website, along with the proceedings of the
International Vladimir Nabokov Symposium (July 2002) that we have now
prepared for publication. If anyone is interested in the online publication
of his or her Nabokov and Germany paper, in German, English, or Russian,
please let me know. I will send you the formatting requirements. My e-mail
for Nabokovian projects is olvor@rol.ru.

Sincerely,

Olga Voronina
The Nabokov Museum
St. Petersburg, Russia

Dear List,

I am currently trying to locate the contributions to the St.
Petersburg Conference on Nabokov and Germany (October 1999),
which were announced to be published in the 6-th issue of the
Nabokovskij vestnik. Apparently this issue already came out
bearing the Title "Nabokov and the Silver Age". What happened to
"Nabokov and Germany"?

Thank you in advance
Kind regards,

Ulrike Goldschweer
