EDNOTE. Maurice Couturier is the leading Nabokov specialist in France and the editor of the in-progress Pleiade.
In re Mr. Karpukhin's request, perhaps some kindly soul can xerox and send him the French texts. Pease advise him and me, if you can do this.

Dear Don,
Both items Mr Karpukhin mentions in his mail are currently available in print in France: "Mademoiselle O" in the French edition of Nabokov's Dozen (I translated the other stories but used, of course, Nabokov's original text for that particular story); and "Pouchkine, ou le vrai et le vraisemblable" in the dossier I edited in the N° 551 (September 1999) issue of La Nouvelle Revue Française. Neither text is available online.

Happy new year to you.

Best,

Maurice

EDNOTE. I see, to my surprise, that the French items below are not in the
Symposium edition. Can anyone help Mr. Karpukhin in far-off Siberia?
