This is just to say that I greatly enjoyed the interview with Professor
Brian Boyd; a veritable pleasure to hear the voice of this great Nabokovian
to whom we owe so much. And as Don Johnson rightly points out, Mr Boyd's
musical taste is truly remarkable -but, then again, this is hardly
surprising!

EDNOTE. The interview reported below is a chance to hear not only Brian's
comments on VN but to get an insight to the breadth of his musical tastes.
Although I have known him for well over twenty years I continue to be amazed
anew by his range. My thanks to Clifford Davy for calling attention to this
interview.
