Query: Comparisons between Nabokov and Borges

Dear Don and List,
As two of the greatest masters of 20th century literature, I think Nabokov
and Borges share in common that both were undeservedly deprived of a Nobel
Prize in Literature.
I was wondering whether there are any other parallels between the two
maestros besides that. I can think of some, but only some. Their intricate
word games and recurring mirror motif are some I can think of right now.
Can anybody give me any valuable input on this topic? I would highly
appreciate it.
