The images I have never replicated (which are much more emotionally
disturbing to me than the Berlin pix) are the horrendous ones from Dachau,
Auschwitz, etc., many of which were taken near the end of the suffering.
The Berlin photos put an illuminating historical perspective on the
conditions leading up to the war, and on the current practice of some in the
U.S. to equate Nazis with various policies and individuals who piss them off
at any given moment.
