EDITOR'S NOTE. The Whitney collection at the Russian Archives held at
Amherst contain a number of Nabokov-related items and more are being
catalogued. Archivist Tanya Chebotarev <tchebotarev@amherst.edu>
provides the description below. For a fuller listing, please see the

I am pleased to provide you with some additional information on our
Nabokov's holdings. CRC has several autographs of Nabokov's family -
poem by Vladimir Nabokov, Vera Nabokov's letter to Zinaida Schakovskoy,
several letters from Nabokov's sister Elena Sikorskaia to Z. Schakovskoy
and several letters from Natalia Nabokova to her sister. We also have
several folders with correspondence, clippings and reviews on Zinaida
Schakovskoy book "In Search of Nabokov" (mostly in Russian). Some of
these materials are not included in Z. S. book and might be interesting
for Nabokov's researcher. If you prefer to see a more detailed
description you can find it at Schakovskoy Family Papers, Series I,
subseries 3, pp.71-78. Our WWW address is
