I've actually been working on a set of maps (such as Don describes) to
accompany a project that (if ever finished) will be called "Kinbote in
Cedarn: The Geography of Pale Fire." It's more work than you'd think;
there is some sort of precise geographical reference on almost every
page of PF. An excellent project for students because it forces a close
reading of the text.
