EDNOTE. Roughly translates as "Once upon a time a citrus lived in the
thickets of the south:--yes, but a spurious example. (It is missing the
"hard sign" (tverdyi znak)--a letter that has no sound value itself but
indicates non-palatalization of certain preceeding consonants.)
