El libro 'El juego intelectual. IronĂa y textualidad en las narraciones breves de V. Nabokov' parte de una tesis doctoral
La profesora del Departamento de FilologĂas Modernas de la Universidad de La Rioja presentĂł ayer el libro, coincidiendo con la acusaciĂłn vertida en la prensa alemana sobre el posible plagio de su obra más emblemática, Lolita. La autora aprovechĂł la presentaciĂłn del libro, resultado de su tesis doctoral, para refutar con diferentes argumentos esa posibilidad. AsunciĂłn Barreras es una experta en la obra del autor ruso, al que ha dedicado diez años de investigaciĂłn, y ahora ofrece un completo estudio sobre cĂłmo Nabokov utiliza la ironĂa en sus textos partiendo de sus narraciones breves, relatos que pertenecen a los tres perĂodos del autor: los escritos en los años 20, los del exilio y los que escribiĂł en su Ă©poca ameri! cana y que, a la postre, fueron los que le dieron fama internacional. El trabajo se detiene en los elementos interlingĂĽĂsticos que se aprecian en la traducciĂłn al inglĂ©s de sus obras escritas en ruso y francĂ©s, se analizan las estructuras narrativas, los gĂ©neros, los tipos de narradores y el uso que el escritor realiza de la memoria y la imaginaciĂłn.
La autora destacĂł durante la presentaciĂłn «la riqueza de recursos que Nabokov utiliza en sus relatos para construir la ironĂa», que le sirve a un tiempo para distanciarse de las penurias de su exilio en BerlĂn y ParĂs, tras la pĂ©rdida de la Rusia presoviĂ©tica.
«Nabokov aprende a utilizar la ironĂa y acaba creando juegos intelectuales e irĂłnicos que sus lectores deben descubrir para comprender sus textos», recoge entre sus conclusiones AsunciĂłn Barrera, para quien el lector debe discernir quĂ© puede creer y no creer. «La labor interpretativa del lector es fundamenta! l a la hora de entender esa ironĂa».
Por tanto, el mejor lector del escritor ruso será aquél que vuelve a sus novelas y relatos, «que relee la obra para descubrir esos anagramas».
