Here, where I am livin (I mean Poland - I derive this obserwation
not only from my town but also polish tv and radio) people
sometimes use a ping-pong metaphor (not in your meaning - which
I had never hear about - but closest to my), they sometimes
speak also about "quick ball" (quick ball sentence) - so I think
it should be maybe used also in America. This my observation about
ping-pong comes maybe not from quoted fragm. (but I was aware
of this fragm. and also had im my memory kinbote ping pong-tables)
but from my own "strong ping-pong experience" (new tiresome
work) ;-)
