Milton: corrections

A small correction: "Iov" in my previous post (that left my computer by mistake) should be "Job" and "Old Testament" should be "Bible" (hence the mention of Babel in the next sentence).

Speaking of king Solomon (Lomonosov = Solomonov), he was the son of king David. On the other hand, Jesus Christ was called by his contemporaries "the son of David" (syn Davidov). Syn Davidov + de* = Denis Davydov, a Russian poet (who sang Bacchus, Mars and Venus), Pushkin's friend and a hero of Napoleonic wars. Chekhov mentions him in a very interesting letter to Suvorin.
On the other hand, one remembers Ada's Baron Klim Avidov, who, according to Walter C. Keyway, Esq., dropped the first letter of his name [D] in order to use it as a particule (1.36)

*nobility particle
