Dear list,

I have two new posts up at the Kobaltana blog  (kobaltana.wordpress.com). In the first, I talk about the Laurel and Hardy scene from “A Chump at Oxford” that VN recalls in an interview reprinted in SO.

In my most recent post, I present a data visualization of Nabokov’s composition of the poem, “Pale Fire,” based on the dated notecards from the holograph manuscript. As I mention in my post, I am interested in creating a more dynamic visualization than the one I’ve managed here, so if anyone here has expertise in that field and wants to contact me privately, please do.

Matt Roth
