Having admired with both dismay and fondness hoaxsters [and the more benign sociopaths] in literature and in my professional life, I find Professor Naiman's ride on this hobby-horse an absolute delight. My only sadness is the improbability that the Harveys et al. might be creatures of Dr. Naiman's imagination. [Although he might wish to reassure us all on this point].
