Actually, Shirley Temple wasn't the real movie star:  It was a girl named Shirley De Vere.

Hmm - very interesting  - and you do know that naughty Graham Greene was involved in a virtual pedophilic scandal whose subject was Shirley Temple ...*  Shades of we know who?
