A little contribution to the present debate, from Maurice Couturier:

French philosopher Clément Rosset writes in "Le Réel, Traité de l'idiotie" (Ed.
de Minuit, 1977), that "the real is that which has no duplicate", explaining
that once one tiny hole has been represented it becomes part of consensual
reality. Poetry endlessly toys with approximations of the real.
