A minor point, but perhaps worth noting: Kondratiy Ryleev's initials, KR was a penname of the highborn poet Konstantin Romanov (1858-1915, a grandson of Nicholas I, the czar who approved Ryleev's execution). In Ada (1.38) Van describes KR as "wretched poet and happy husband" (cf. Shnap's words on human happiness in The Event).
 
In the alphabet, the L, M, N, O, P series mentioned in my previous post is between K and R: ...K, L, M, N, O, P, R...
