PS: Lapsus, coincidence or a typo? 

 

While transcribing the bit about Amy Redwing and her fiancé, Brian, I wrote & with no second thoughts: "...and her boydfriend, Brian." 

Koontz' inspirational ghost was a dog, a golden retriever named Trixie*.
