I wish to thank Sandy Klein for all the interesting items he contributes to the List on a regular basis. Today's item, with the wonderful pictures of butterflies and grids, is a special delight and one of the best Christmas presents I've received.

Thanks as well to Jansy Mello for carrying the List when others of us are tongue-tied, too busy, or have nothing worth saying.

Without the efforts of these two, the List would be, for long stretches at a time, a poor thing indeed.

Finally, Susan and Stephen deserve our deepest appreciation for the time and hard work they put into the List each and every day, including Christmas.
