The French translation of "TOoL" (trans. Maurice Couturier, Gallimard) will
come out on Nabokov's birthday. A new edition of the short stories has just
been published by Gallimard, and a collection of Nabokov's lectures on
literature by Laffont. And the second volume of the Pléiade which includes "The
Gift", "The Enchanter", "The Real Life of Sebastian Knight", "Lolita"
and "Speak, Memory" will come out in September (chief editor M. Couturier;
contributors: Brian Boyd, Alexander Dolinin, René Alladaye, Laure Troubetzkoy).
