Dear Nabokv-L subscribers,
If ever you should wish to retract a post (as has happened quite a few
times in the past 10 days), the only way to have a chance of doing so
is to write to the editors' address linked at the bottom of
every Nab-L post. Please make your subject line an all-caps
RETRACTION. We cannot promise that we will always see these before we
approve and forward messages to the list, but I can promise
that if you send your retractions as a submission to the list,
I will not see it until I have already approved the previous post.
Even better, of course, is to hold off sending a submission until you
are quite, quite sure it is what you want it to be.
