EDNote: Subscribers may not be aware that by registering yourself with a password at the listserver and logging in, (you can click the concealing message where emails should be to reach the login screen, even from Google), you can view email addresses along with the messages.  This mechanism ensures that our list is not stolen for spam-creation, but it enables us to find each other.  Registering is a very simple process that involves giving your subscribed email address and a password; it will be activated when you respond to a confirmation message generated by the server.  This is also how to access the control screen for managing account settings.  All are encouraged to try it out.  If you have difficulties, let the EDs know! ~SB

Subject: QUERY: On PF, to someone unknown and to David Roach, from Jerry Friedman

When I first posted a PF timeline, someone asked me off the list for the reference
for the last entry, which I had omitted. I'm sorry that I deleted that e-mail,
so I don't know who it was. I'd like for the timeline to go on the Web now, so if
that person is reading this, please let me know who you are so I can thank you.

To David Roach: Back in December, you mentioned "many inconsistencies" in
PF. I don't know why I didn't respond then (though it may have had to do with the
end of the semester), but I'm interested in comparing your list of discrepancies
with mine and learning what you made of them. Are you interested? If so, please
reply here or to jerry_friedman@yahoo.com. (Unfortunately your e-mail address
doesn't appear in the archives; otherwise I'd have e-mailed you directly.)

Jerry Friedman
