Hey everyone:

I'm brand-new to the list and simply wanted to introduce myself, as well as pose a question that may seem a bit amateurish but that I'm genuinely interested in receiving an answer to....I've been a pretty serious reader of Nabokov for 11 years, or since I was 19, and on a recent re-reading of Nabkov's first English-language novel, had _Sebasian Knight_ re-confirmed as my favorite among his books. That's me. As for my question: Why is Boyd's still the only full-length biography (and is there another on the way?), and why is it so expensive (by the standards of books in print) to get ahold of? In future postings I hope to express concerns about the subtleties of _Pale Fire_ interpretations and _Onegin_ translations, but for now this is what I have. Please indulge.
