Subject: Tarentine sail and Tarentus

PS:
Vanīs legs are indeed like a "tarentine sail" in ADA whereas in the lecture on Joyce VN describes  how S. Dedalus quizzes his students about Tarentus ( and a Pyrrhean victory...)
This is no coincidence.
It seems that VN is teaching us then how we should now read his own future novel,  ADA, with all its intra and intertextual  references and synchronic images!
I have to read ADA all over again, always a very exciting prospect.
Or retrospect, if I remember well Professor Pninīs own lectures...
