Early January has been good to Nabokov's Blues--  all this happened just today (Jan 3):

l.  We made HMS Beagle's (the big BioTech website) Top Ten Books for 2000 list.

[They said they didn't post in any order although we were listed no. 7.   Others were Genome, Sensory Exotica, The Art of Genes, Biography of a Germ, and Niles Eldredge's book on creationism/evolution, Jane Goodalls latest book etc., ten in all].

2.  We got a great review I hear in London Observer Sunday book section(copy on way to me)

3. We'll be reviewed soon in NATURE [one of the top world science journals] and were notified earlier this month that we'll also be reviewed in the New York Review of Books [along with Brian's and Bob Pyles book and the Stacy Schiff's Vera].

gee, I should celebrate a little!  [shovel some of that NY snow?]
