Revshin (a friend of Troshcheykin, Lyubov''s lover; Vera calls him "the confidant") is tall, lean and hirsute. His colleagues dubbed him волосатый глист (a hairy intestine worm; "The Event," Act One).

Cf. ...

(Lyubov' says that an artist should paint for people and not to please the monster that sits in him and sucks. Troshcheykin retorts that one should paint for one's own tapeworm, and only for it. Act Three)

Inside Troshcheykin sits a Revshin?

Revshin + baraban = Vera + Barbashin + n (baraban - Russ., drum)
