Dear List,

I'm back from an exhilarating visit to Scotland, of which the highlight, of course, was the Nabokov and Morality Symposium energetically hosted by Michael Rodgers at the University of Strathclyde.  Michael may be sending in a fuller description of the proceedings -- but let me report that the various papers, along with Michael Wood's keynote address, investigated this topic in a number of fascinating contexts.  It was a special pleasure to hear the work of emerging Nabokov scholars as well as seasoned Nabokov critics.  Clearly, the study of Nabokov continues to flourish!

P.S.  Thanks to my generous co-editor, Steve Blackwell, for briefly stepping in to facilitate my trip.
