With regard to Marianne Cotugno's charming note, I am glad the makers of the Radiant Lolita bicycle have greater knowledge of the name's origin than the nincompoops who -- from bottom to top -- run Woolworth's of England. Incidentally, there are numerous Lolitas, thus named by at least moderately literate parents, who are proud to bear the name and, most likely, would be delighted to have slept in the bed. Withdrawal of the Lolita bed to placate a vociferous unread mother or two was a bad marketing move.
