Novel Ways of Teaching 'Lolita'

Galya Diment, professor of Slavic languages and literatures, University of Washington; and Zoran Kuzmanovich, professor of English, Davidson College

September marks the 50th anniversary of the publication of Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita. Ms. Diment (G.D.) and Mr. Kuzmanovich (Z.K.) have edited a collection of essays about teaching this acclaimed and troubling novel. It will appear next year in a Modern Language Association series on teaching difficult books.
