So true!  Furthermore:  Lyne's film shows Lolita enjoying sex with Humbert after that first morning at the Enchanted Hunters (something Nabokov does NOT do).   This goes a long way toward lessening Humbert's criminality by implying that Lolita was a willing participant in her captivity.
