I donīt know how this kind of window is named
elsewhere, but in Brazil it is a "guilhotina".
In TT the
reference to the French Revolution in "lunette" is quite clear, but I think
that it is worth checking if VN could not have been linking the guillotine
and this kind of corporeal punishment as shown in the
cartoon.
