Dear Friends:

We are grateful to the New York Times for drawing attention to the St.-Petersburg
literary museums in its recent article "The Lairs of Russian Literary Lions"
As far as our museum is concerned -- some corrections
are needed. Leaving aside a couple of biographical inaccuracies
let me assure all our future visitors that the museum does have
information sheets in both languages and English-language tours are
available if booked one day in advance.  All the three people
working here speak English.

Also, for those who read Russian it might be interesting to look up my
article on the museum's history and present situation in the St.Petersburg weekly
