EDNOTE. I would like to say a few words in connection with the NABOKOV 101 program. It offers a superb opportunity  to   (re-)read Nabokov's writings and attend lecture series by two of the world's top-ranking Nabokov scholars, Alexander Dolinin & Julian Connolly. All this in the house that VN grew up in and in the country summer house that VN inherited from his Uncle Ruka. Reading VN's autobiography and visiting the  many "Nabokovian" places in the city and the nearby countryside. Petersburg, celebrating its 300th anniversary, is one of the world's great cities.

The program is a splendid setting to get acquainted with other Nabokovians from around the world. I have had the privilige of  co-teaching  NABOKOV 101 with Alexander Dolinin and can unreservedly recommend the program.

The program is open to anyone interested in Nabokov and is capably administered by Museum Director Tatyana Ponomareva who may be reached at  <azint@mail.wplus.net>.
