Re: The glass butterfly candy dish being auctioned

The seller quickly responded to my questions about
the provenances of the dish and the story:
This dish was bought in the late 1980's at Marco Polo
Antiques on Madison Avenue. The proprietor, Margie Greenberg, related
that story to us, and it makes a great conversation piece. But we were
never able verify its authenticity. Thanks for your interest.
