EDITORIAL NOTE. Jeff Edmunds <jhe@psulias.psu.edu>, Master of the new
Web Site "ZEMBLA: THE NABOKOV BUTTERFLY NET," reports several new
features below.
For those who have not yet taken a look, I would mention that
among the many features useful to the Nabokophile, ZEMBLA contains John
DeMoss's Index to _Strong Opinions_, an invaluable resource for locating
those Nabokov interview quotes that we all half remember, but can't find. No
less important as a research aid is Gene Barabtarlo's Index to _The
Nabokovian_, while Dieter Zimmer's Index to his new full edition of the
Nabokov-Wilson correspondence includes listings for the 50-odd letters
that are to be found ONLY in the his new German edition. See the earlier
NABOKV-L description of this item. There are also many superb photographs
supplied by Barabtarlo and Zimmer. DBJ

Nabokovians,
First, my thanks to Galya Diment, Gennady Barabtarlo, and Alexander
Dolinin for their detailed responses to my VN & Anna Akhmatova query.
Second, there are two new tidbits in Zembla. The first is Homes and
Haunts, a list of VN's many addresses, with photographs of some of the
sites, by Dieter E. Zimmer. The second, for Zemblans with a penchant for
boys' buttocks, is a color image of the cover of the paperback edition of
Donald Harington's novel _Ekaterina_, chapters 1-5 of which grace the site.
The novel, inspired in part by _Lolita_ was reviewed on NABOKV-L and in
NABOKOV STUDIES#1 by Clarence Brown.
