I'm about to join in an informal one-time discussion of Lolita. A friend
told me that he had read or heard that VN said he had written Lolita in
a Buick, but didn't remember the source. Anyone know? An interview?

EDITOR's NOTE. The Buick sounds faintly familar, but parts of LOLITA were
written in an Oldsmobile. See Brian Boyd's biography. I assume the photo
used as publicity for the recent Lolita recording by Jeremy Iron shows the
Oldsmobile. Does anyone know about a Buick?
