EDITOR's NOTE. Paul Pascal is a co-inventor of the "Double Dactyl" (of
Nabokovian note). His wife, Naomi Brenner Pascal, Editor-in-Chief of the
University of Washington Press, is a former Wellesley student of Nabokov's
and author of a brief reminiscence that appeared on NABOKV-L and in Number
35 of THE NABOKOVIAN.

Some of you who didn't notice the intriguing misspelling in the New York
Times account of the Cornell Festival that was circulated to the list
yesterday may be pleased to have it called to your attention:
"entymology." I think Nabokov himself might have enjoyed it.
