It was reviewed in International Herald Tribune today; it is claimed
there that the name is a reference to the fact that Nabokov wore gloves
when working with butterflies he has collected, and, if my memory does
not betray me, nothing else in the play's plot, characters, etc. is
related to Nabokov.
