"Glory" was translated into Japanese by prof. Atsumi in 1974. Translating this
novel, prof. Atsumi asked VN by letter about the phrases which he could not
understand. He writes in the afterword that Vera kindly answered to his questions.
As for the "kana-inum" of the ancient Khadir sages, he comments that it is not a
real name and that VN ridicules Bubnov's incorrect understanding of ancient
Eastern history.
