I'm currently at work on a biographical sketch of Sergey Nabokov's,
Vladimir's younger brother who died in a Nazi concentration camp.
I know he's come up on this list before, but there's a particular mystery
I'm trying to solve. We know (from Boyd and elsewhere) that Sergey's last
and most serious partner was an Austrian (or just possibly a German) whose
first name was Hermann. I've managed to learn a certain amount about
Hermann, but not enough to pin down his identity, or his last name. Can
anyone help?
