Query: English reviews of Mel'nikov's _Klassik bez retushi_

FROM the Editor: In 2000 Nikolai Mel'nikov published the invaluable
compendium KLASSIK bez RETUSHI: (A Classic Unretouched: The Literary
World on Vladimir Nabokov. The circa 700 page volume consists of
reprints of reviews and articles on VN's work at the time of their
initial appearance. Nabokov is now seen through the filter of many
decades of criticism and scholarship. This volume presents him as he
appeared to his contemporaries all the way from his earliest Russian
works through Look at teh Harlequins! and the Lectures on Literature and
even obituaries. I cannot overstress the usefulness of this volume to
Russian-reading Nabokovians. As one who spent many years collecting many
of these these reviews and articles via Inter Iibrary Loan can fully
appreciate the convenience of having them gathered into one volume which
even includes (in Russian translation) scarce English review items.

NABOKV-L would like to know if any English-language reviews of the
volume have appeared or are in the works.
