When invited to stay at the Schillers' house, HH says
"I had merely dropped in on my way to Readsburg where
I was to be entertained by some friends and admirers."
Presumably the town of "Readsburg" is fairly close to
"Coalmont"; there is an intriguingly-named Alpharetta
about 15 miles from Coal Mountain, Georgia.

A fragment of far-fetched evidence in support of Mark
Bennett's argument?

Also, note that the address HH first visits in
"Coalmont" is "10 Killer Street" & it is at this point
that he says "I am not going very far for my
pseudonyms." Does anyone have access to a street map
of Coal Mountain, to search for a plausible original
for "Killer Street"? (Or "Hunter Road", for that
matter.)
