--------------------------------------
The new issue includes editor Steve Parker's regular news of the field
such as conferences and new publications as well as his "2000 Nabokov
Bibliography" done with the help of Joanthan Perkins.

Brian Boyd offers a short essay "d'O You Get the Joke" about ADA's
Baron d'O, Demon's early rival for Marina's charms. This is in addition
to Boyd's invaluable continuing feature "Annotations to ADA: 18. Part I
Chapter 18." Anyone who undertakes to write about ADA without first
consulting this series is at risk.

The "Notes and Brief Commentaries" section, edited by Gennady
Barabtarlo, contains:

"A Note on Houseman in PALE FIRE" by Anthony Fazio
"Another Nabokov Reference in PALE FIRE" by Ward Swinson
"Poem, Problem, Prank" by Alexander Zholkovsky
"Name Strings" by Gennady Barabtarlo

Fazio and Swinton additionally offer some textual emendations for PALE
FIRE.
